Pioneering Sustainable Development in the outer islands of Seychelles

The Islands Development Company (IDC) was officially established on 29th April 1980, to create a structured framework for developing the economy of Seychelles' outer islands.

IDC is strongly committed to delivering reliable, timely, and courteous service while working to ensure that all development activities on the outer islands are conducted in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.

The company’s wide-ranging operations include providing air and sea transportation links across the outer islands of Seychelles, as well as constructing and maintaining essential infrastructure to support key economic sectors such as tourism and agriculture.
