Ensuring air and sea links to the outer islands of Seychelles, providing reliable and regular transportation to support both local communities and tourism.
Construction and maintenance of infrastructure to support economic activities, including tourism and agriculture.
Provision of facilities for electricity generation and distribution, potable water production, sewerage and solid waste treatment.
Building, managing, and maintaining airfield facilities, as well as harbour and maritime infrastructure.
Providing all islands with an inventory of food and essential supplies, including medical equipment.
Provision of medical services and emergency medical evacuation as needed.
Maintaining law and order on the islands through regular patrols, law enforcement, and prompt incident response.
Managing and executing national emergency plans for the outer islands, ensuring preparedness and swift response.
Providing accommodation, transport, and equipment for the Island Conservation Society (ICS).
Support for ICS conservation centres on Alphonse, Desroches, Farquhar, Ile Plate and Silhouette.
Support for ICS expeditions to other islands, including Astove, Cosmoledo, and Providence.
Management of environment in partnerships with ICS to promote conservation efforts through Islands managed by IDC.
